Kapitel 148: Messages

"Alpha, it is done." Vasili wiped the sweat off his forehead and stood in front of his Alpha who was looking out of the window. The man seemed to be lost in thoughts as he did not react to Vasili's words. He did not even turn to him as he kept his gaze locked at nothing in particular.

Vasili did not speak another word and waited for the man himself to come out of his thoughts. Although he knew what his Alpha was thinking, he did not what exactly it was that made him this lost and serious. 

Kaelon's incident was not normal. The man who they had assumed to be dead was in fact, alive and well. He had done what he could that year, that gruesome when the previous Alpha and Luna had been murdered brutally and it was the others who were attached to the couple who had to bear the consequences and pain.
