"Are you sure this is the right way to go?" Kane took a sip of the drink I handed him. "I know you are hurting, but you are angry. We both know how rage can influence us to do things. You have seen how it affects you. Do you think this is how to solve this problem?"

I glanced at him from the corner of my eyes. "I can't sit back and relax. It's not the way anyone should solve a problem. That bitch knew what she was getting herself into when she refused to comply."

Kane scoffed. "Wow. I have never seen you use profanity before."

"I have never been this angry before either."

"You don't know what goes on in that nymph's head." Kane rested a hand on the helm. "No one knows why she took Sabastian. You said it yourself that she admitted to wanting to be your friend. Why would she anger you on purpose if that was what she wanted?"

I had no idea. Those logical thoughts were not being processed. I could not think about logic or anything.
