"First day will be tomorrow. And the fact that High Priestess came here all by herself to say this in front of the elders from both races makes it more serious. There is no way for you to reject it. She shall be marked by you and has to become your mate one way or other," Eudora said with a finality in her voice supporting Serene. 

If you all don't know, this was the reason why both women can make everyone shiver with their gazes alone. 

If they made a decision then it's final. There would be no more protests and nothing. 

But right now, the relationship between him and Lenora wasn't on the right track. Consummating would be a bad idea. This may put more differences and much more distance between them.
