Kapitel 256: Weak Resolve

"How was my acting, Human?" Diablo asked.

"I know very little about acting. I am just an incredibly gifted faker." Dreamer replied. "And tell me, were you not under Nirvana?"

"I was. But that white space can't make me give up. It could have worked if it wasn't me."

"Wh-What do you mean?" Dreamer again forced his hand but Diablo did not let go.

"I mean if your resolve is strong enough, you can't give up without achieving that goal." Diablo said and it made Dreamer frown.

Was his resolve not strong enough? He was trapped in Nirvana for a significant amount of time.

While Dreamer thought all that Diablo spoke again. He said, "Tell me this, Human, wasn't this the same ability that Dryad used on you? You can take others' abilities?"

'Now he is acting smart. Dammit.' Diablo was on point but Dreamer couldn't tell that. He applied more force to take away his hand but the fucking bastard still held it tight.
