“Why do you look so sad?” The man asked, making me want to hit him upside the head.

I specifically came here for dolls and now you ask me to find something else. The hardback old books might seem appealing but that's not what I want.

Why didn't he update his business details on the internet, to prevent mistakes such as this?

Forming my lips into a thin line, “I don't want anything else. Thank you, but I'll leave now.” My shoulders slumped in defeat and resignation.

“Are you absolutely certain that you don't want anything else? There are some really nice things around here that, you can gift your family and friends.” Sounding like a professional business owner, he tried to convince me.

The problem was, there was no other person I wanted to give anything to. Nah I wasn't convinced just enough.

“No thanks. I clearly can't get what I want here.” Taking a few steps backward, “There would be no need to look around further.”
