Kapitel 148: BLOOD MOON

"Noah, you are my mate and you need to stay safe." Lia warned as soon as she noticed the boy, crawling back to the bed.

"I will be, but right now can I just cuddle you?' He asked with his doe eyes which screamed for some rest.

"Noah, I am worried about you. Why don't you get it?" Lia asked pushing his face slightly away to get a view of his face.

"Hmm, you don't have to be. I can manage it." He nuzzled his face on her neck to get more comfortable.

"I am proud of you, thou. You just killed all those monsters but why did you take that risk? Don't tell me that was just a show off." 

"No, it was not a show off." He grinned and she could clearly feel his breath fanning on her neck.

"Then? Care to explain?"

"Weren't they the ones who tried to hurt you? Do you think, I would just let it slide?"
