Yu Holea listened attentively to Zephyr's explanations, her mind absorbing the information while she continued her search for the artifact

Zephyr continued,

"When Celestial Master Song knew about this order he wanted to become a soul cultivator but he didn't have any resources, as for mental cultivation he wasn't suited. Hence he chose to become an evil cultivator."

Yu Holea's mouth made a 'O' shape.

"So he only had 50 years of cultivation. Second, he heavily relied on his physical strength which deteriorated as he aged while his power was gained using artifacts, he never refined that power, and hence even though he had cultivated it for 50 years, he wasn't a difficult opponent."

Yu Holea asked,

"Refine the power?"

"Yes. Every time we borrow or gain power from some artifact, we need to refine it. Of course, this process of refining is very tedious and painful, and hence many people take the shortcut."
