We step through the portal and see Alexia, Ali and Xei waiting for us. Alexia comes and takes my bags and exchanges pleasantries with Bix as Ali and Xei wait for us to finish. I look between the two and can feel the tension between them and wonder what has happened there. Last time I saw them together they were getting along rather nicely, wondering what changed. I shake off my thoughts and focus on the task at hand. “We have the location.” I say as I hand the paper to Ali and she shows Xei.
