Kapitel 140: Knowing one's place (5)

Nathaniel woke up in the morning. Everything was new and strange to him, the faces he once knew had become strangers. 

He spent most of breakfast with everyone drilling him with questions of what they wanted him to remember. He was exposed to many awkward situations in people trying to bring back his memories. All of which were futile and bore no fruits. 

Nathaniel heard many version of who he used to be. Confused as to which one he was. According to Omar, he was a lover, a person who fought for his family to the end.  Doing whatever it takes to keep his family safe. Yet the darkling couldn't name one lover he flight so hard for. So Nathaniel doubted if that was who he was. 

In accordance with Lana, he was a leech that knew only how to snatch other people's love anf rubbing it in their faces. That he had come between her and her brother, before snatching everything her brother had leaving him friendless and lonely.
