"What the hell...? What the fuck is written here?" Flint grumbled. 

"My god, Lord Flint has an awfully foul mouth," Ruby muttered. "Is swearing for every little thing necessary?" 

"How would you know that? If you were in my position, you would do the same." 

"Her Highness pays you well and also lets you go no matter how you behave. Isn't that enough?" 

"I work my ass off for the payment," he defended himself. "Ask Her Highness. Your Highness, have I not been working properly?" 

"Yes, you have been," I said tiredly. "Anyway, can you read what's on the paper?" 

"No, but it's a mage's message. I can't read it though," he replied. 

"Are you sure it's a mage's message?" 

"Positive. I feel awful. There has not been a single time when I have not been able to read, no, there has been only one time... Lord Luc might be able to read this."
