Kapitel 9: Chapter 9 My Neighbor was an Angel
(Amane pov)
"Finally, we're done," I said, wiping the nonexistent sweat from my forehead.
Gu Yuena and I have been cleaning the entire apartment and now we are placing the furniture we bought in their designated spots.
"Finally, I can lie down," Gu Yuena grumbles, lying on the sofa while I start cooking.
DING!
The sound of the doorbell echoed through the living room. "I'll get it," Gu Yuena shouted, heading towards the door. I followed her gaze and saw her peering at the person who had pressed the doorbell through the doorbell camera.
Now I feel like a father watching my daughter learn things, but due to her dragon instincts, she struggles to make friends because she can't control her sharp tongue. However, despite her biting remarks, the students in my previous school used to call her the Silver Empress and they enjoyed being mistreated like a commoners.
I kept cooking while Gu Yuena dealt with the person who had rung the doorbell.
"Sorry for intruding, Amane-san," the blond-haired girl said, she was the person that we recently helped, and currently seating next to Gu Yuena.
To my surprise, I noticed that Gu Yuena was not using her sharp tongue while talking to the blond-haired girl. "My, my, Gu Yuena wasn't using her sharp tongue with the blond-haired girl. This is a good news to the that Chisato would love to hear," I said, as my grin spreading across my face.
The blond-haired girl blushed, and Gu Yuena joined her in a slight blush. "I have a friend, you know," Gu Yuena grumbled.
"Who? Chisato and Kirukiru? Well, they are friends, but they're also family," I replied, with my shit eating grin.
"I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Shiina Mahiru. It's a pleasure to meet you again," Mahiru said, giving me a nod.
"Nice to meet you, Mahiru. Well, it seems like you already know my last name. But I'll still introduce myself. I'm Fujimiya Amane," I replied. She probably saw my name on the mail post near the door.
"Your apartment is bigger than mine," Mahiru remarked, clearly impressed by the spacious living area compared to her own.
"I believe the owner combined three living spaces from this floor to the upper floor," I explained, taking into account the large size of the apartment and the presence of the stairs.
"I see, by the way, Fujimiya-san, it's surprising that you know how to cook," Mahiru teased. I was taken aback by her playful comment.
"I learned the hard way," I replied with a smile. Little did she know, thanks to my ability to transport back to my kingdom and here, I was forced to learn how to cook.

Mahiru giggled at Amane's comment and took a look around the apartment. "Is it just the two of you living here?" she asked, curiosity evident in her voice as she wondered why they had purchased such a large apartment.
"There are two other girls," Gu Yuena replied.
Mahiru appeared surprised. "Oh, are they Amane-san's relatives?" she asked, her voice filled with skepticism. It seemed unusual to her that girls who were not family would choose to live together, although that boy had a girlfriend.
Gu Yuena shook her head. "No, they are my best friends and sisters," she clarified, her face brightening with a radiant smile.
"Beautiful," Mahiru whispered, admiring Gu Yuena's smile. "I'm surprised that they allowed your boyfriend to live with them," she added, a wry smile playing on her lips.
"Well," Gu Yuena hesitated for a moment, glancing at Amane who was busy preparing snacks for them. Amane noticed her gaze and nodded his head. "Well, they are his girlfriend's friends as well, so," she said, now that she had received Amane's permission to share the information.
Sooner or later, Mahiru would discover their relationship, and they don't have reason to hide it.
"I didn't expect Amane-san to be a playboy," Mahiru murmured, glancing at Amane's back. Although she was taken aback by Gu Yuena's response, she managed to compose herself. "Amane-san seems a sinful man," she added, her tone tinged with a hint of amusement.
"You're not angry?" Amane asked, taking a back from her teasing.
"Why would I be surprised?" Mahiru tilted her head, her expression curious. "It's your relationship, and considering that they all know each other, including your relationship, it makes sense for the four of you to live together. It's actually quite convenient, isn't it?" she added with a smile.
Amane and Gu Yuena exchanged glances before turning their gaze to Mahiru. They couldn't help but think that this girl was an angel.
