Kapitel 65: To The Battlefield

Adam stood in the grand throne room, the atmosphere heavy with anticipation. He was accompanied by Halland, who had Eirk by his side. Adam's gaze fixated on the empty throne, his patience wearing thin. It had been nearly an hour since their arrival, yet King Cain was nowhere to be found. Frustration etched its way onto Adam's face as he turned to Halland, hoping to find solace in conversation.

"What do you think is taking him so long?" Adam asked, his tone laced with annoyance. Halland, ever the enigmatic figure, simply shrugged, his ever-present smile causing unease among the guards who kept a watchful eye on him.

Adam's impatience grew, and he posed the question once more, hoping to draw more than a shrug from Halland. "Do you think we should leave?"

Halland shrugged once again, a gesture that only further irritated Adam. "Are you going to shrug every time I ask you a question?" Adam snapped, his frustration boiling over.
