Qiao Xi smiled like a fox. "I've never attended such a banquet. Can't I go out to see the world?"

Gu Zheng chuckled and looked away.

After Qiao Xi went upstairs, she walked to the balcony and made a call. The call was quickly answered. "Little Six, you're finally willing to call me, your third brother? You said that you'd be gone for a few months. You didn't even call to say you were safe. Master was so angry that he wanted to expel you."

When Qiao Xi remained silent, Third Brother added as if he had found his conscience, "Don't worry. Don't you know Master's temper? He's only saying that you'll be expelled but the ones who'll suffer in the end is us."

They were all used to their master venting his anger on them because he could not bear to flare up at Little Six.
