Kapitel 11: Chapter 11

“Absolutely not.” He shut the door and straightened. “I’ve been wondering off and on all day if you really do kiss as great as I remember.”

Jay reached for a dishcloth and dried his hands and forearms. As the silence stretched between them, Nick wondered if he had said the wrong thing. Jay could have been perfectly happy to flirt with him, but that didn’t mean he’d want to take things anywhere else.

He turned around, tossing the towel aside and meeting Nick’s gaze. “I kiss better than you remember. I wasn’t working with the best of conditions last night.”

His groin tightened, but he focused on keeping it casual. “It was raining. And I was drunk.”

“Exactly my point. I don’t mind a bit of water, but I prefer it to be much warmer.”

Nick glanced at the loft. “Heat rises.”

“So you don’t want to flip to see who is stuck on the couch?”

“I never really did.” He grinned. “I just thought it might be better to hold on to a shred of my dignity in case you were just feeling sorry for me.”
