Kapitel 4: Chapter 4

Michael and Aiden were in the hallway, heads bent together as they talked in whispers. Michael turned as Philip reached the bottom of the stairs and approached him.

“Philip…”

“Don’t.” Philip held up a hand and stepped away. “I don’t want to hear it. He can rot as far as I’m concerned.”

“We’re of the same opinion.” Michael sighed and nodded. “You need anything, you let us know.”

Philip didn’t respond to that. There wasn’t really anything he could say.

“I can’t believe Adam would do that.” Michael said.

He and Aiden lay in bed, tangled in each other’s arms. Both of them were covered in sweat from their lovemaking, and Michael’s heart was still racing. His adopted brother was certainly vigorous once he got in the bedroom. Just like he was in court. Michael couldn’t think of a better partner, both in business and in bed.

Nineteen years, and their bond was still strong.

Aiden snorted, his head on Michael’s shoulder.
