“You,” said Bill, his tone shocked as well as amused. “You smiled, Scott. I didn’t know it was possible. And not only that, you laughed.”

Scott felt ridiculous. Why were his cheeks burning? He was the least inhibited boy on the planet. Why did it feel like this was the first time he was being noticed? “Was it too racy?” he asked. “Too short?”

“It was brief, but great. I used royalty-free music, but I’d need to buy the rights to it if you want a video on YouTube. I don’t want you to reshoot this because your reactions are so natural, but you need to find a way to keep your phone steadier. Well, you’ll need more than that, but I mean, to start. Tell me, tiger. Was it fun? Would you like to do more?”

Scott beamed. “Totally. I can get money doing that?”

“It might start slow, handsome boy, but yes, I think you can.”
