Kapitel 4: Chapter 4

Rafe was no fool. It was a Monday night and he knew it would be dead at the bar with all the rain. He could probably close early. It was the perfect night to get Justin to come back.

“I think I’d like a bouquet.” Rafe knew arrangements were made with florist’s foam that stayed wet. If he got an arrangement, it would be ready in less than an hour and he’d have to take it to the bar without accomplishing his goal. On the other hand, if he got a bouquet…

“What kind of flowers do you think your mama would like and how much do you want to spend?”

Rafe leaned over the counter looking into the glass case.

“Something with lots of colors and textures and I’d like to spend about fifty dollars. Is that enough for a nice bouquet?” Justin turned and stood for a moment looking at his flower case.

“I think I have exactly what you need in stock. You won’t be able to keep these in the bar all day. Do you want to have them delivered?” Rafe blanched, he hadn’t thought about that.
