And now Jamie needed a few moments to get his head clear and focused.

Kathy was missing, possibly injured, possibly dead. They had to concentrate on finding her. Nick was desperate to know what had happened to his sister, and the scene he had witnessed earlier wasn’t going to help. They should focus on that.

Not on how much Jamie wanted to go into the spare room and get into bed with Nick.

Jamie had had a couple of relationships before Daniel, and he had shared men with Daniel before. But none of them came close to building up these sudden intense feelings in his gut. Daniel was the only one, and Jamie had thought it would be just them growing old together. Friends of theirs had polyamory relationships, and it seemed to work. Jamie didn’t think he would be able to manage sharing Daniel long term.
