Kapitel 13: Chapter 13

“Do you mind if Junior joins us?”

“Of course not, it’s too cold to wait in the car.”

Bear called out to Junior to come inside. Brian unpacked the lunch. After Greg took the luggage up to the bedroom he joined them.

Greg quickly found the microwave and some bowls, heated and served each in turn, garnishing the potato soup with garlic croutons. He unwrapped the sandwiches, placed them on mismatched plates he found in the cabinet next to the bowls, passed out paper napkins, then set out utensils. He noticed that she provided cookies for dessert. He arranged them on a plate and put them in the middle of the table. He found Coke, Coke Zero, Evian, ginger ale and beer in the refrigerator and placed a selection on the table with jelly glasses from the cupboard. The soda was cold but he asked everyone whether they wanted ice. Bear handed Cisco and Greg a copy of the revised contract he prepared which he and Greg read while they ate.
