“You realize now that you didn’t kill your parents?” Keith helped Bobby into the car.

“Intellectually, I know, but in my heart I keep asking why them and not me?”

“From what you and Jason said, they lived happy and comfortable lives. They had their love for each other and their love and pride in you, those are more blessings than most people receive.

Keith got into the driver’s seat, and they headed over to Lambertville. They ate lunch in a small café serving French food. Bobby finished his meal. Keith looked at his watch. “We have to go now if we want to meet Jake at the police station on time.” Bobby nodded, and they walked to the car. Getting in, they drove back down Route 29 to the road in Trenton that took them to Interstate 195.
