“Eat,” Rémy commanded. Ian picked up his fork. He was hungry.

“So it happens every time you make love?” Ian knew he was being nosy, but he just couldn’t help it. He ate some more of the pancakes and eggs and took a sip of juice.

“Yes. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Although, I’m a little over fifty percent loup-garou I grew up as a human, so I can see how you would be curious about our life and how we live it.” Ian nodded, fascinated as he steadily cleared his plate.

“First, a wolf is ever faithful—you’ll never have to worry about him cheating on you. Second, Rémy will never hurt or abuse you. The laws concerning were behavior with humans are harsh to those who don’t obey, even if the human is their mate. Any other weres that know about the abuse and don’t report the crime face the same penalty as the abuser.” Ian nodded his head and didn’t notice Sean piling his plate with more food until he happened to look down and caught him in the act.
