“Obviously you haven’t been in the United States very long. Garou is an equal opportunity employer. The most qualified person gets the job, male or female,” Artis laughingly told him. “I don’t want to be slapped with a discrimination suit.”

“Even the women in the packs are better off in the United States. If that’s the case, I’ll just have Angelique post the job and we’ll see who turns up. I’ll have Julio put a deposit on the apartment and pay him for it when we return.” Alexei picked up the house phone to speak to Vasily and asked him to call Julio and Angelique.
