Being able to witness a protagonist encounter a fortuitous opportunity right in front of him was pretty interesting, but Raymond wasn't interested in interfering. Although this weapon was probably way more extraordinary than it looked, being in possession of such a treasure was bound to invite endless trouble. Usually, a demonic weapon like this might be useful, but it would also make a lot of enemies, and perhaps create misunderstandings.
Raymond preferred laying low. With an upgradeable physique of a god, Raymond wasn't very worried about how far he would make it on the road of cultivation. As long as he worked hard and laid low, he thought he would one day be able to attain immortality and the strength to protect what he cared for. Although he wanted to lay low, that didn't mean that he would give up all opportunities, and let others trample on him, but he also didn't want to go out of his way to create trouble.
