The next morning, the Longhurst mansion was ready to host their guests for a lunch. Theodora was dressed impressively and was standing beside her mother while her father checked for the last-minute preparations.

Bertha was excited to meet the old priest and take his blessings. It was not every day that the man who had attained the highest level of devotion blessed common people like her with his appearance.

Ralph had asked Zerith to get the priest and his student with him in his personal carriage. He checked the time and at the same time, heard the guard inform him that the carriage has entered the main gate.

Ralph straightened his back as he stood near the main door of the mansion to welcome the priest. The carriage stopped, and Zerith stepped down, followed by the priest's favourite student.
