"Of course," Old Madam Ji agreed. Even the sharpness in her eyes softened when she saw that Yu Dong was respecting the opinions of the mers in her family. At least her grandson would be happy and content in this family.

Yu Dong heaved a sigh of relief and so did Yu Tong. The two sisters were worried that Old Madam Ji would also pressurise them like Headmistress Ji.

However, this elderly woman was much more easy to talk to when compared to her daughter.

We are alright with that but I hope that you will give my family a positive answer in a week," Old Madam Ji would not have come to the Yu family to talk about Ji Chuan's marriage if she hadn't heard Ji Chuan say that if he had to marry he would rather marry Yu Tong. 

She had also investigated Yu Tong and found her likeable. She had a decent salary and was already building a house for her and her husbands, next to her sister's.
