Kapitel 1390: Pushing limits

Seeing the greedy ghosts snatching everything that could be snatched, Chen Mi pursed his lips in disgust. Even when he, Ye Liu and Shen Li were starving they did not act like this. The sight alone was to make him nauseated. With his lips set in thin lines, he walked over to the dining table and then placed the dish that he was holding in his hands. 

"Grandmother, I will be in my room if there is something that you want then ask Mammy Gong," Chen Mi said to Old Madam Yu. He did not want to sit alongside Yu Sa's family and watch them gobble the food as if they were starving for two years. 

Old Madam Yu looked at the bunch of beasts who were eating as if they had never seen meat and nodded. She too would have left if possible, she nodded and said, "Go, take some rice and meat with you and eat in the room."
