Alastair and Soterisa entered the meeting room and sat on their chairs beside the round table. Alastair surveyed the room after her arrival and uttered with a calm voice. "Erika Familia, Vader Familia, Blitz, and Monete. The chief of the security bureau, the second of command, the former spirit adventurer union receptionist, and the leader of the Anfang's confederacy union."

"I'm sure the four of you have known each other before our meeting in this room. But let me clarify that you reside in this room, not as your former identity but as the higher echelons of the Bastion Syndicate." Alastair continued as she thoughtfully stated toward the four.

She needed to solidify her position as the leader of the Bastion Syndicate. Though most might be curious why four people of different origins had gathered together as echelons of the syndicate. The reason for this was somewhat simple, Alastair needed influence and power.

They were the best ones for the job.
