Kapitel 25: 25

Roy POV

I carry Thea into the house. I am beyond frustrated with her. She is lucky she is alive. Jay and his band of vampires could have killed her. I am sure Henry and Debbie encouraged this act of violence. However, at this point, it would be for the best if I took Thea somewhere safe.

Thea sleeps in my bed. I hold her hand and keep a vigilante watch all night. I cannot take my eyes off of her. When the sun begins to beam through the sheer curtains, I have made my decision. I have to do what is best for Thea. It is time I leave her with her.

I release her hand and go into her room. I take out a bag and begin to pack her some things for our journey. I am not sure how this will work or if it will work. The vampires will be furious I have left permanently. If I genuinely love her, it is what needs to happen.

I finish packing her things. “Are you making me leave, daddy?” Thea asks me. I turn to see her standing at the door.
