Kapitel 20: Upgraded Reinforce
After Morris supported Roan's claim, rest of the team also recalled their fight. They found out their theory of wolf being weak was correct.
They thought Morris was correct. They all got back to their places. Morris aked them to help in cooking.
They unpacked their bags and took out some stone made utensils. Roan noticed that the bag was handcrafted.
It was made out of wood and did not look heavy. Inside the bag, there was a bottle made of stone full with water.
Morris took out the water bottle and other utensils. By the time he was done, rest of them had already prepared fire to roast the meat.
Morris cleaned the bloody meat using a water ability. Roan grew more interested in the team.
"One of them has ability to control stone and made a container for water and other utensils."
"Morris has high defense, a reinforce type skill and water affinity. They make a perfect team to survive" he thought
The meat was being cooked, everyone was sitting near the fire in silence.
Roan finally got the chance when no one was bothering him. He opened his system screen.

"The exp requirements have not changed much. It only increased by thousand."
"The undistributed stats increased to 24. I can survive this place if I invest all my stats" he murmured to himself.
After checking the stats he checked for intermediate crystal stored in system. He was not leveling up from beast crystal.
He could only get some element affinity at most. The exp points gained from the crystal was not enough to level up.
After checking the crystals in system, he smiled. He was happy, he had total of four intermediate tier beast Crystal including the wolf's.
Morris and others felt creepy from his smile. He was bloody with tattered clothes and looked like a psycho killer.
The strength he showed during the fight and the scene of his kick shattering the wolf's head sent chills down to their spine.
Morris waited for him open his eyes and did not care for his look. He looked at Roan and others then said
"Let me help you clean off the blood from your body. I have restored enough energy to help you clean up all."
Roan nodded, he too felt uncomfortable because of the blood. Lucas and others also nodded.
Morris concentrated and changed his energy into water. The water from the abilities were not edible but could be used to clean and wash.
Lucas also concentrated and put his hands on the ground. The soil on the ground piled up and and took the shape of a small circular pool.
The pool was not very wide with only a diameter of one meter and a foot high. Morris controlled the water and filled the tub to its brim.
It did not seem like it took much of his energy. He poured water from pool on his face and started washing.
Roan and others also sat across the pool and started cleaning themselves. He was cleaning the blood stains on his body but the blood was dry.
Suddenly smoke appeared from the water and it started to turn warm. He saw Jennie creating the smoke in water.
She put her hands in water and used fire. The water instantly turned warm.
After the water turned warm, the dried blood stains on his body became easy to wash off.
Everyone had some difficulty cleaning the dried blood stains but with warm water it came off easily.
After he and others were done with cleaning, the meat was already cooked. They all used the utensils made of rock and had their dinners.
"We have already killed the beast of this cave but we do not if the kangaroo or any other beast will come."
"We have five members here so we will take turns guarding the cave" Morris informed them all
No one rejected the idea and discussed the order in which they would guard the gate.
Roan took turn to guard the cave after Lucas. He did not dare to be careless. He was vigilantly looking outside the cave while training reinforce.
He could only use reinforce on his hands and legs. Now he slowly used his energy to cover his shoulder with energy.
It was difficult at first and was a slow process. Soon his two hours were over. He woke up Jasper to take his turn guarding the cave.
He was still sitting around using his energy to cover his shoulder.
Jasper saw him trying to reinforce his shoulder. He did not say anything at first and was looking outside the cave.
After half an hour he subconsciously looked at Roan and frowned.
'Reinforcing one's body consumes a lot of energy. How can he still use his energy after half an hour?' he thought
'Is he learning to reinforce his body now? No, that cannot be possible. He was already using it on his hands during the fight'
Jasper then looked at his hands and found that the quality of his reinforce skill is very low. He thought it was some low level skill.
'What is this skill? If he already has an skill then how can he not use reinforce on his shoulders?' he thought
'Is he trying to change his skill? or is he learning the skill now? But he already used it during the fight how could he not have already learnt it'
'Is... iss he creating a skill?' his mind went blank.
'How could someone create a skill. It is not possible. If he were this talented then why would he be put into the hunting space?' he consoled his shocked hurt.
He could not bear seeing Roan train like this so he asked "What is the name of your skill?"
Roan opened his eyes and looked at Jasper looking at him expecting an answer. He did not have any skill and he was using energy to cover his body without any guidance.
"It is not a skill. I am using my energy to roughly cover my body." Roan answered then closed his eyes and started training again.
"You did not learn it from anywhere? You are just learning it now??" he had already expected it but he was still shocked. He tried not to show his shock while asking.
"Yes" Roan only said one word while training with his eyes closed.
'It's okay, after all he is just crudely using energy to protect himself and he must have huge energy reserves and that is why he can use it for long' Jasper thought to himself.
He was a members of Williams family. It was one of four main families. The Williams were mainly fire users with inherent strong physique.
He was a weak member of Williams or to be exact not main member of the family. Big families like Williams had many side branches.
He was member of one of the branch family. His father recently joined the branch family after years of working.
He started training in the Williams training sutra three years back from now. He was already reaching rank E.
But the ability given to side families were not very strong like main family. It was still enough to reach Rank B with it.
He thought of himself as a genius to have reached the peak of Rank F in three years. His sister Jennie was not yet able to control fire but he could even shoot it to a target and still control it.
Seeing that Roan was creating a skill for himself and also used it to kill the wolf earlier, he was very surprised.
He was shocked with Roan's talent and sympathized with him. He thought of something and said
"Do you want to learn a reinforce skill? I can teach you. Take it as a thank you for saving us back earlier"
Roan opened his eyes and looked at Jasper. He paused for a second then nodded with gratitude.
Jasper gave him brief of the skill he learnt as a side family member. He thought of consequences of teaching the stranger.
But the reinforce skill was fairly common in the market. Every ability user almost had it one of this level.
The skill he gave to Roan was basic skill and could be leveled up after training into it.
According to the will of user, the basic reinforce skill could go very far depending on their proficiency.
Roan tried using the skill Jasper taught him. The skill was very basic. It gave him a detailed functions of his body and specific regions where he could freely pass energy.
The spots mentioned in the skill were the places where energy could pass faster than that of normal organs.
There were many such spots Roan himself found while training. They were the spots he found easier to use while reinforcing.
The skill he was taught gave him many such spot in nearly every part of his body. They were parts of the body which did not offer resistance to his energy and allowed it to move freely.
He started to familiarize himself with such spots. These spots would not only help him to use reinforce but would also help him to use other skills.
After half an hour of more training he had exhausted his energy. He opened his eyes with his forehead covered in sweat.
Jasper was looking at him and did not say anything. He knew it would take time for Roan to familiarize himself with the skill.
"Thanks , it helped a lot" Roan said to Jasper with a smile.
"It is OK. It's just a beginner skill. Have you already learnt it?" Jasper asked quickly not caring for his thanks and gratitude.
He could not believe it. The skill was not so easy. Learning it would take a lot practice and time to familiarize with the skill.
"No, I did not fully learn it, but it helped a lot in my current situation. I can control my energy well and last longer than before" Roan explained
Hearing that he only familiarized himself with the skill and not fully learnt it, gave Jasper a confidence boost.
He gave his skill to Roan for free only because he wanted to check his talent. With a thought that it would be a big help for his ally to gain strength.
They did not talk anymore. Roan went to find a place in cave to rest and Jasper sat alone near the exit of cave.
Roan had already exhausted his strength and slept. Jasper was sitting at cave's exit waiting for his time to quickly pass.
He also tried to train a little. He used his sutra and then other skills to warm up. He did not dare to fully exhaust his energy.
Soon his turn was over and he called up for Jennie next. He was still in mood to train. After waking up Jennie, he sat down and trained for an hour before exhausting himself.
Jennie looked at him but not at all interested in training. Soon her turn was over too and she woke up the next person and went to sleep.
It was morning and everyone was awake. The time spent in the hunting space was not long. It was only their third day and they already got used to it.
Sleeping in the cave was not comfortable but it was sufficient. They waited to plan their next move.
Morris asked Jasper who was physically strongest among the team to go and scout for a while.
Others were using their sutras to reach their peak body state ready for a hunt.
Roan was sitting on the ground, familiarizing himself with the skill. He was trying to protect only certain parts of his body while neglecting others.
He had only 19 points of energy which was only close to the lowest E rank. He wanted to learn the efficient use of energy.
