John did not even look at Waverly. He looked straight at Rachel, who was walking towards him, and asked, "What brings you here?"

The days there John would be drinking day and night is over. At first, Rachel tried to talk him out of it, but she realized that it was useless to do so, so she stopped coming.

This sudden visit was probably because she had heard something.

Rachel let out a long sigh. "John, I was only slightly relieved when I found out that you're better now. Finally, you don't drink as much as you used to. You have to take care of yourself in the future."

John looked at her expressionlessly. He knew clearly that this was not the purpose of her visit. "Rachel, if you have something to say, just say it."
