Kapitel 49: Chapter 49 : All's well end's well

There wasn't any significant change that happened after the meeting was over. I was still that gloomy girl everyone wanted to avoid. 

Everyone thought they would never see me again after the meeting. Therefore, when I came back to class like nothing happened a day after the meeting, everyone in school gaped in shock. If I was any other person, they probably wouldn't think so strangely about it, since escaping from punishment was easy for those whose parents could protect their child well. However, for someone like me, who had no family and was scorned by others, it was a miracle that I could walk away unscathed.

On the same day, Mrs. Gabrielle called for me and apologized as well. Although she looked extremely reluctant, I still accepted her apology. Nothing else I can do about that. Someone must have told her about Alex's threat at the meeting, so she lowered herself and apologize first to me.
