Kapitel 167: Going Through a Flashback

Lauren snapped out of her daze. From the sound of footsteps, she could tell that it was Quinn.

At this moment, Lauren was in a playful mood. She lay on the bed with her eyes closed, pretending that she did not know someone had entered.

When the man walked up to the bed, Lauren's eyes widened and she jumped up from the bed.

"Ah!"

As expected, Quinn was shocked and took half a step back.

"I scared you!" Lauren laughed out loud.

Quinn quickly turned on the lights in the room and patted his chest.

"You scared me to death. I thought you were just going through a flashback."

Lauren was speechless. Was this how a flashback was used?

She was not going to die soon.

After eating her fill, she had closed her eyes and rested for a while. With this commotion, Lauren no longer felt sleepy, and she was now in high spirits.

Seeing that Lauren had recovered a little, Quinn was relieved.
