Gabrielle was rubbing the ointment on the affected area. He smiled, there was a difference between how she treated him then and now.

Bringing out the compression wraps, she rolled it skillfully over his hand. "Make sure you don't clench your hand for the time being and come by within two days to get it inspected."

Damian had wanted to pull his hand away but Gabrielle's hand still held on to his like a vice.
