Kapitel 39: Elijah's capabilities (2)
Killing the beast would take more time than Elijah had planed. But that didn't mean he would just allow a deserted demonic beast to follow him around like a madman.
Killing it would burnout out his mana reserves, while also depleting his stamina. But since Elijah doesn't want to waste time ending its life, that doesn't he wouldn't.
Losing its sense of sight was the only way Elijah could end this battle haste before he could continue on his search. Because how could the demonic beast chase after him if it didn't possess eyes to so.
But if it were some other demonic beast that depended on its nose rather than its eyes, then Elijah would have been forced to end its life to avoid additional problems.
But since the silver horned rhino had no elemental affinity or even a hereditary technique, the only thing it possessed instead was its thick hide and an absurd endurance.
As such a move that would incapacitate its movement- decreases its lethality, as it would then go on a rampage until been killed by a demonic beast of a higher rank.
Still grabbing down on its horn as the silver horned rhino tried manoeuvring its way out of Elijah grip. It didn't help that the beast is a tier 5 primitive demonic beast, meaning that in comparison to a devil, it was at the same tier as a tier 5 lesser devil.
Possessing a physical combat strength of about 12,960kg, while weighing about 10,000 pounds. Which was quite much compared to Elijah who weighed about 760.6 pounds.
As usual, Elijah tried to make sense of such logic, but he failed miserably in doing so. There was no logic in this part of the universe because such things were only based on the pillars of someone's else understanding thereby making the impossible possible.

Elijah base strength is only about 8,800kg, but Elijah was currently using the formless palm technique which had increased his overall arm strength to 13,200kg.
He had also learned the 'Dividing fang' passed the initial stage to the intermediate stage.
When Elijah began practising the 'Dividing fang' at the beginner stage, all he had to do was to train in the same way he had done for the 'formless technique technique' because doing so wasn't difficult as all he had to do was concentrate mana in his hands at once, instead of releasing them slowly and continuously.
As Elijah was flying around in the air like a flag flying around in defeat, he managed to bring his hands which was still caught in the right side of silver horned rhino eye out, while he prepared to pierce it other remaining eyes

But by instinct, the demonic beast came to a sudden halt, the sudden stop in momentum drew Elijah backwards as he landed back on his feet, once more opposing the demonic beast that stood before him.
In these past few months, Elijah had grown much more than he had ever done, whether it was physically or mentally.
Gathering his magical energy, on one hand, Elijah prepared to use the 'Diving fang', as he wanted to end the fight immediately. Because the longer this fight was been drawn, the more his plans were delayed.
Using the 'Diving fang' didn't require a flashy display of moves, as it didn't particular possess any special characteristics.
But one thing it did bring to the table, was a 170 per cent in Elijah's attack power, thereby bringing Elijah deadly strike to a frightening 23,760 kg.
This technique was enough for Elijah to seriously injure or even kill a tier 6 lesser ranked devil if he caught them unaware. As that was what the technique was good, as its threat was very beautifully wrapped up to look as though the user was merely swinging his hands.
But unlike the 'Formless palms technique', the 'Diving fang' couldn't be used continuously and expanded half of Elijah mana reserves.
Such a loss would have been avoided if Elijah had mixed his yin energy with his magical energy, but he quickly dismissed the idea, as he didn't currently have enough yin to use in a fight.
So he could only focus on using it in dire situations, as it would lessen his mana consumption, while also reducing the accumulated stress he would get from using the technique at the same time.
While all this immediately took place in a split second, the silver horned rhino wasted no time as it charged blindly at Elijah one more time. Elijah sprinted towards it too as he concentrated on the flow of mana in his magic veins, intending to unleash the 'Diving fang technique'.
The silver horned rhino tried to pick up Elijah and dismember him with its horn in its blinded rage, but the demonic beast failed to notice a minor detail as Elijah himself had jumped up while using its horn as his grip.
Twisting his body sideways, Elijah immediately landed on its back as he rode the silver horned rhino like a man trying to tame a wild bull.
Bringing his hands to the left eye side of the demonic beast which had been left unscared, Elijah swung his hands into its eye sockets as the 'Diving fang' showed its prowess, totally maiming its eyeballs, all the way to its brain.
Its bones felt like biscuit crackers in front of the 'Diving fang technique' as it posed absolutely no obstruction to Elijah's hand which were like a sharp blade butchering its prey.
Elijah sunk his hands into its brain, as he stretched it out of its skull, with several of its tendons which looked as disgusting as he had imagined it sticking with it.
The demonic beast which was still blinded in rage didn't know what had happened until it felt its other eyes losing its sight while its body went limp before it fell into an internal slumber.
