Kapitel 98: Religious (unedited)

Liam's mother had asked him a simple question, "What happened?" 

A few minutes had passed, yet he didn't know what answer to give. 

He hadn't outrightly fought with people because they were gay. He only had a problem with those who were trying to hit on him despite knowing how he would react. Also, the issue with Chris had escalated because of Oliver, and he didn't know how to raise it in the conversation.

"I'm sorry." Liam said, looking down. He didn't want to see the angry looks on each of his parents' faces. His father looked very angry, while his mother's anger was mixed with sadness. 

"You are sorry? Is that the answer to the question your mother asked you?" His father yelled at him. 

"It's complicated." Liam said in his defense.

"Really? What exactly is complicated?" His mother asked, raising a hand to stop his father when he tried to speak.
