Before he could ask Clyde where he had got the scarf, the blond flinched in shock at the sound of multiple gunshots. 

Clyde quickly shielded him behind his back, and only turned towards him when the gunshots stopped. 

"I will be back soon." He whispered after kissing Ryley one more time. 

Less than two minutes after the plane finally came to a stop in a private airport near Chicago, a group of armed guards stormed inside the cabin. 

By the same time the remaining crew and co-pilot were escorted out of the plane, Clyde stepped out of the bedroom cabin and calmly closed the door behind him. 

He raised his hands as if surrendering without waiting for an order.

However, as soon as the Alpha lifted his head, the armed guards lowered their weapons and bowed at him.
