After she found out about Eldrin's betrayal, Gloria didn't immediately confront him. Instead, she pretended to be oblivious and even indirectly manipulated Eldrin to keep going with his intention to enthrone his son with Blair Anderson and start a new dynasty of the Alpha empire.
