Blair glanced at the headless body beneath his feet, it had been years since he last beheaded someone out of a rage.
"Send the hearts and the corpses to a crematorium. Let them rest in peace," the old man muttered.
Once the squad leader was done cleaning the bloodstain on his sword, Blair turned around and sheathed it back into his walking stick.
Just because the number of Enigmas had dropped to 1% of total population and consistently declining despite no official report, it didn't take away the fact that they posed an unprecedented threat to the world.
And while the idea that said Enigmas were inherently evil sounded naive, Blair had seen for himself just how 'inhuman' they were.
It seemed that the world made such a big mistake by revoking the policy during the era of the second Alpha sovereign, that all Pureblood Alphas should be cremated after death.
The goal was of course... to prevent Enigmas from awakening their 'power'.
