Just then, she felt like someone was about to enter the inner court where she was. She quickly ran and look for a place to hide.

Fortunately, there was a huge statue nearby. She went there and hid just in time.

"I am Lady Marina of the Tribal Council. Let me in," Lady Marina shouted in a loud voice as she stormed to the inner courts to the door of the throne room, quieting down the anxious people inside the throne room. 

There was a man following her, but he was covered in a cloak, as if he was hiding his identity.

Fortunately, Aisha was well-hidden at the statue beside the door that nobody noticed her. But she held her palms to her chest, just in case someone might hear the drumming of her heart, which for her was louder than Lady Marina's voice.

She pressed her lips as she drew in a deep breath, waiting for Lady Marina's part in the story.
