"Because I am needed there. Marco is going too," I reasoned with him.
"Marco is not my boyfriend you are. You're not going," he said it like it was a fact as he took a sip of his coffee.
"Vasili I'm going."
"Over my dead body you are. What if something happens to you?"
"If I don't go you will be dead and nothing will happen to me. You saw how I handled myself in Russia. The chances of me getting hurt are slim to none," it literally felt like I was arguing with my mother to let me to go a party at this rate. We had been going back and forth about this since this morning.
"That was Nicos inexperienced cousins group! These are hardened criminals. They aren't fun target practice," he slapped his hand on the table.
