Kevin informed his wife that Cathy and Dawn might be missing and to compound the problem, Cyrus and Katya were also out of communication.

"I can't go through this again," said Cheryl. "It's just too much. Kev, are we doing the right thing here? We're sending children-our children-in danger's way."

"They're young but not exactly children. Cathy and Dawn are powerful together, and Cyrus is with Katya. The two of them are unstoppable. You'll see, they'll all be back for Cathy and Cyrus' birthday. Let's go home for the night. I've assigned Katie to look for anything regarding them, just in case. She told me that Cathy and Dawn accomplished their mission in San Francisco."

Cheryl smiled weakly and walked out of Kevin's office. The smile faded from his face because she knew he'd been more worried than he let on.
