Makai and I spent the next few minutes trying to make sure that we were holding the electronic babies right until they started to cry. When I looked at Maisie in panic, she just laughed and said that they were telling us something. We needed to figure it out. As it turns out, the babies were hungry. So, Makai and I both needed to feed the babies and get them settled. The bottles that we gave them were special. We had to mix water with a powder, and it needed to be heated to the proper temperature. When we fed the babies nothing came out of the bottles, but there was a sensor that would tell the babies if it was too hot and they would cry. Thankfully, our bottles were made correctly, so the babies didn't cry. Not right away anyway.

"OK, Ocean, what do you think is wrong now?" Makai asked as he set aside the bottle. We were only half way through feeding the babies, so they shouldn't need something else right now.
