Thanks to the artificial gravity that this place had, I was actually able to walk in here and feel like I was just in a strange place on the surface. I even forgot that there was water all around me after a moment. That was helpful. And the apartment was nice enough too. The room that Makai and I had been given was furnished with a large and soft bed. It looked like the frame was made of coral, but the mattress was made of something softer and spongier. I didn't see the mattress though, since it was covered with a sheet of some kind, one that didn't get destroyed by being in the water like this. There was also a closet that was closed with a very, very large shell and a set of chairs next to the window.
