Kapitel 26: Find out
Ilhan's pov,
After telling that to Len, I went to Trena's home to search for her mate. I went there to stay until I found her mate. I had already stayed there for a month. I couldn't even inform Travis about it. Today I went to Trena's school to bring her home. Actually, I went there to find her mate. I met her there.
I asked her, "Did feel anything around anyone?"
She said with a quite gloomy expression, "No, I didn't."
I was a little bit hurt by her gloomy face. I want to cheer her up. So I asked, "Do you want to hang out with me?"
She didn't answer me. So I told her, "As you say before you want to go to the carnival park. So today we will go there."
It seems like she didn't want to talk to me so I grabbed his hand and dragged her to my car. Then we get into my car and went to the destination. She didn't talk to me at all. She didn't even show any interest in those rides. So I had no choice but to choose some rides for her to get on. We rode in order on the Floating boat, Horse ride, Ferris wheel, Bumper car, Haunted house, and Roller coaster. She didn't come closer to me until we went haunted house. After that, she became much more comfortable with me than before. Then another day we went to watch a movie. It was a horror movie. But she enjoyed it so much. After finished watching the movie, we were about to leave. Suddenly she said that she could smell an intense scent. She led the way and I followed her. We eventually find her mate. We went to him. By asking, we get to know a very important matter about him. We are also shocked to know about that.
I told him, "Hello there, Are you a werewolf?"
He answered, "Yeah. I guess you guys too."
I humbly said, "Yeah. I think you two should talk about something."
He asked, "Like what?"
I replied, "You'll get to learn about it quickly. You two talk here, I'm waiting there. Okay."
Then I went there. They talked to each other.
Trena's pov
I begin the conversation as Ilhan told me to do. I already learn about Ilhan that like everyone he didn't want to be with me. So I give up on him.
I asked him, "What's your name?"
He replied, "My name is Lauren Wilson. And your's?
I told him, "My name is Trena wood."
He asked, "What's the matter you wanted to ask me?"
I answered, "I wanted to say that...em-?
He stopped me and said, "Sorry but I have to pick this phone call. Can I?"
I told him, "Of course you can."
After finished his phone call he said, "My wife called me and told me to go home now."
I asked with a high voice, "YOU HAVE WIFE?.... Oh sorry for raising my voice abruptly."
He said, "It's ok. I have a wife."
I asked, "Is she your mate?"
He told me, "No, she's not."
I asked again, "Aren't you an alpha?"
He said, "Yeah. But I don't believe in the matting system and I love my wife very much. Although she's a human and she knew about my spices, she loved me and accepted me as her life partner. We also have a child of ours who's also human. He's just five month's old. He's so cute and adorable. Whatever, you wanna say something and I interrupted you. You can tell me now."
I told him, "I can smell your scent like a mate can do. So I came here to ask about it. But as you say, you don't believe in the matting system and you have a wife along with a child. I appreciate your decision. I wish you have a good life with them. Sorry for wasting your time. Nice to meet you."
Before he could say anything I rush off from there because I was about to cry. I did not go directly to Ilhan. I went to the ladies washroom. I shed tears there for not having a mate. After a while, I came out of the washroom and went to Ilhan.
Ilhan asked me, "Why are you alone? Where's him?"
I told him, "He's gone."
He again asked, "To where?"
I calmly said, "To her life partner. They're married and also had a child."
He further asked, "Isn't he an alpha?"
I told him, "He doesn't believe in those matters. Now I want to go home."
He said to me, "But we planned to have lunch at that restaurant."
I couldn't hold my tears. While weeping, I told him, "I...don't wanna.... go... to... anywhere. Please, let's go home."
He didn't say anything and get into his car. I followed him as well. I thought that we're going home. But he was about to bring me to my brother's home. It's quite far. So it took three and a half hours to get there. I wonder why it took so long to reach home and also I haven't come here for years. So I couldn't understand it at first. But when I realize that he took me to Travis. I told him, "Stop the car."
He stopped the car. He followed me as I got out of the car. Then he grabbed my hand and asked, "What happened, Trena? Why did you tell me to stop and get down from it?"
I said, "Because it's the way of Travis's home. Isn't it?"
He told me, "Yeah. We are going to your brother."
I asked, "Why?"
He said, "Don't you wanna meet him?"
I told him, "Not now. I wanna go home for now."
He said to me, "Are you upset? Why did you cry that time?"
I got flustered and began stuttering, "Wh..when...di..did..I?
He said, "The time when you get to know that your mate had a wife."
I told him, "Because I had none in my fate. I was born to be alone. I'm also a jinx for everyone. I shouldn't have been born."
I started wailing. He wiped my tears and embrace me warmly. Then he pats his hand on my head and said, "Don't cry. Didn't I tell you if you were unable to meet your mate then I'll talk to your brother about it? Let's go there and talk with him about it."
Now I agreed with him. But I felt so nervous. We get into the car. Then he put his hand on mine and said, "You look exhausted. Take a nap and don't be worry about it. Whatever the circumstance comes, I will handle it."
As he told me, I fell asleep in the car while he driving the car.
