Chess' room fell silent after the loud breaking of the glass window. Both Hans and the girl had their hearts racing while trying to cope up with the situation as they watched Chess and waited for his instructions.
At moments like this, Hans, who normally leads, takes the liberty to step back and listen to others carefully. One of the reasons why he's a good leader is his self-awareness. He knows when to step up and he knows when to back down.
And this situation is a precise example of the latter.
Never once did he encounter this type of event in his more than twenty years of living. This is a first. So, obviously, he knows nothing about how to handle this situation.
"I'll take the lead. Follow my steps." Chess then said after checking the atmosphere.
Everything is calmed down.
The air was stable and there was no noise.
