Once Chess got off from the train, the one and only thing running inside his head is to hurry and arrive at Cale's house. The thought of visiting the orphanage didn't even appear in his mind for once.

He only remembered about them once he was already standing outside Cale's house.

And like that, he decided to put the kids in second, which he never did before ever since meeting them.

'I'll visit them later…' he thought.

Then, he tried to push the gate open. However, it didn't budge an inch. Because of that, Chess walked towards the waist-leveled wall and did a jump to cross over.

He successfully entered the yard in that way.

Once his feet landed on the ground, he instantly made his way towards the closed door. He wasted nothing and immediately pushed the double-door open.

And what welcomed him was something he didn't expect.

"W-who's there?!" A lady's voice floated over.

Chess halted his steps.
