Noah's mind screamed at him not to give th4 scroll away, to keep it for his usage and to keep it safe. There was a foreign influence in that thought process, real subtle for one person to be able to tell fully.

Still, Noah was no slouch and he had plenty of experience with things like these. Many people had tried using magic on his person to make him susceptible to their wishes.

But the crazy thing was, Noah, did not feel as if he was being controlled at all. He felt like he was being helped instead, helped in a way he wanted to be held.
