The two candidates from the inner town surrendered without any fight after witnessing Lucas's battle with the assassin.

"You sure about that?"

Lucas spoke while sitting in the arena ground. He has forcefully used the Shadow Domain, depleting his remaining void energy. He was way too exhausted.

"We were wrong... it was Alfred..."

The two candidates left the Heroes Hall with their guards, leaving Alfred alone in the waiting area.

With the help of Elisa, the guards managed to clean the arena and dispose of the dead assassins while Lucas focused on regaining his energy.
