Kapitel 9: Group 2 vs Group 4 I
*FWEEEEEEE!*
Kick-off!
Leonard passed the ball to Sebastian Bell who passed back to him. He sprayed it out the right-winger. It would be intercepted by Emmanuel.
Group 4 played a different style of football, they would press high and utilized the wings to cross them into their target man. Billy Lewis had a frame of 6ft, as well he used his body well to shield off the ball from defenders.
In the thirteenth minute, Cade Hunt passed to the centre-back who was heavily pressed by Leonard Carter. Leonard quickly pickpocketed the centre and ran towards the penalty. Taking the ball with long strides, he placed it past the outstretched goalkeeper's leg into the net.
Emmanuel was disappointed, this was not the start he had hoped.
Trying to lift his teams' spirit he instantly took the ball back to the halfway line.
*FWEEEEEEE!*
Kick-off!
For 20 minutes, Group 2 has been dominated in every aspect of the game. With one decisive pass, the opposition was on through on goal. Emmanuel spotted that the keeper went engage by rushing out, so he went and covered the goal.
The winger decided to chip the goalkeeper, not seeing Emmanuel. At full pace, Emmanuel rushed to stop the flying ball. Acrobatically, he jumped, and overhead kicked it out for a corner. His body had been tangled in the net.
Disentangling himself from the net, he readied himself for the corner kick. Emmanuel covered the front post, and the cross was curving towards Billy Lewis. He knew could not win in aerial battle so he stepped back to block the header. Using his superb ball control, Emmanuel caught Billy's header towards goal with his chest and cleared it out to where Tommy was waiting.
Tommy stopped the ball facing his man, and he did stepovers to confuse the left-back. The left-back left a gap through his legs, so Tommy nutmegged him. He continued running to the penalty box until he caught by a malicious challenge a few yards outside the penalty box.
*FWEEEEEEE!*
The referee held up a red card to No. 4, Rohan Porter who put his face in palms and walked off the field. It was now 11 vs 10.
Tommy entrusted the ball to Emmanuel and whispered," I know you will take this chance."
" Stand one meter behind the wall and make sure you are prepared to receive the ball," Emmanuel replied in a quiet tone.
As instructed, Tommy lined up behind the wall, waiting to see the magic happen.
*FWEEEEEEE!*
Emmanuel shaped up to take the freekick, he stared at the top left corner. Confusing everyone on the field except Tommy, he chipped it over the wall with a beautiful arch, and the ball floated in front of Tommy. He volleyed into the bottom right, the opposite side of the keeper.
*FWEEEEEEE!*
*GGGOOAALL!
In the 29th minute, they had left the whole field in shock, the duo had tricked everyone with this play. Tommy and Emmanuel both went to recover the ball, and the only thing they cared about was winning.
By the time they kicked off halftime had come, they all huddled into a circle.
"We were completely dominated, we are even lucky we are drawing right now," announced Emmanuel.
"Let's use our one-man advantage and overload them in defence and offence, " Emmanuel pointed out.
Goalkeeper; No. 1, Cade Roberts.
Right-Back; No. 2, Jeff Freeman Left-Back; No. 3, Bill Howells
Centre-Backs; No. 4, Mason Bourn. No. 5, Grant Hutches.
Centre -Midfielder; No. 8, Cade Hunt. No.10 Morton Kain
Attack-Midfielder; No. 6, Emmanuel Gompel.
Left-Winger; No.11, Rowan Paul. Right-Winger; No. 7, Tommy Perri.
Forward; No. 9, Tyler Hector. -> No 19 Arnold Warner.

Arnold Warner was subbed on who was a fast target man that could win headers. They told Arnold to mark Billy during corner kicks.
With a newfound mentality, Group 2 entered the field with rejuvenated spirits, thanks to the team talk. They believe in themselves, that they could turn the match around.
When they had been positioning themselves for kickoff, they oozed off a fearless aura that terrified Group 4.
Group 4 had made a change bringing off Sebastian Bell for a substitute centre-back.
[This is going to be an interesting half of football.] Coach Johnson thought to himself.
