Kapitel 100: Bk2:Ch14 Burned Down (Part -2)

His fear took the best of him and soon he decided to do the last thing that all soldiers do in case they get captured. He bites his tongue and commits suicide in front of the enemy commander. The rest of the soldier followed his example and took it as a signal they quickly did the same thing so that no one would stop them in the act. Tied up five bodies fell on their sides, blood dripped out of the corners of their mouth. Their eyes starred blank as the life left seeping out of their body.

Eisen and the ghost did not move at all. It is as if they were waiting for something like this to happen. “They gave up quicker than I thought they would.”

Eisen walked closer to another body. He checked one of the faces with his hand. “They saved themselves. The torture would have been unbearable.”

He got up and took out a handkerchief from his pocket. “Check their bodies first for any clues then clean up this mess.” The ghosts bowed down to his command.
